For the upcoming match, the format will consist of 12 individual matches.
Below are the rules and important notes for the match:
Match Rules & Guidelines
- No Gimmes for Scoring: All balls must be holed out for scoring purposes. However, within your match, players may choose to give putts or concede holes.
- Handicaps: Course handicaps will be based on the August 1, 2025 handicap report.
- Scoring Format:
- Each individual match will result in either a Win (+1), Loss (–1), or Draw (½).
- At the end of the match, total team points will be tallied.
- Tiebreaker (if team points are tied): Total net scores of each team.
- Strokes:
- Stroke holes will be allocated based on the difference in Playing Handicaps (PH) between the two players, starting from the most difficult hole.
- Example: If Player A has a PH of 15 and Player B has a PH of 12, Player A receives 1 stroke on the 3 hardest holes (e.g., holes #1, #3, and #18).

club/local-rules/ - Dual Participation: Diamond Bar Men’s Club members will be playing in both the regular Home Tournament and the Team Match.
Event Details
- Arrival Time: Please arrive no later than 8:00 AM for team introductions and group photos.
- Team Shirt: A team shirt will be provided and should be worn during the match.
- On-Course Rulings: Any ruling must be agreed upon by both teams.
- Check-In: Snacks and drinks will be available at check-in (by 8:00 AM).
- Post-Round:
- All players are expected to remain on-site until the completion of all matches.
- Trophy presentation will follow immediately afterward.
- Closest to the Pin:
- The opposing team will participate in a Closest to the Pin contest for both A and B flights.
- Final group: Please collect and return the tape measures and Closest to the Pin markers.
