Since we have moved the date of the Home Tournament to Sunday, March 29th, I would like to announce that sign-ups are now open for the Home Tournament with the first tee time at 7:33 A.M. and we have 52 spots available. Please send a Zelle Payment of $25.00 to the Diamond Bar Men’s Club to secure your spot. Your $25.00 will go toward the cash game and the last day to cancel is Monday, March 23rd. After that, your $25.00 is non-refundable. Match play matches will be in the first tee times and everyone else will follow. If you are playing your match and if your name is not listed below, please send me a separate email stating you are playing your match. We have the following matches playing:
- Chris Pieper vs Michael Gonzalez (white tees)
- Andry Kusnowo vs Chace Fraser (blue tees)
- Marvin Lee vs Joey Contreras (white tees)
There will be two flights for the home tournament. Players in the A Flight will be playing from the Blue Tees and players in the B Flight will be playing from the White Tees. This event will be opened to members first and if there are spots available then we will open it up to guest players.
The game for the Home Tournament will be Stableford
Stableford scoring system is a golf scoring format where players earn points based on their score relative to par on each hole, rather than counting total strokes like in traditional stroke play. The goal is to score as many points as possible. The Squabbit App will be set up for Stableford scoring and you will be awarded points as follows:
- Eagle = 4 points
- Birdie = 3 points
- Par = 2 points
- Bogey = 1 point
- Double Bogey and above no points awarded
Prizes will be awarded for:
- Stableford scoring including handicap for each flight
- Gross/Net Skins for each flight
- Low Gross Score for each flight
- Closest to the Pin for each flight
