Hope everyone is enjoying the Memorial Day weekend.
I would like to provide an update for our upcoming Club Championship & Home Tournaments (2 single-day events) scheduled for June 6-7. To date, this will be our toughest challenge yet, as all participants will be competing using their Lowest Handicap Index from the last 6 months. For both days, A flight will be teeing off from Blue Tees while B flight will be teeing off from White Tees.
There will be FOUR championship categories:
• Gross Championship — Open to anyone with a Low Index of 5.4 or lower
• Senior Gross Championship — Open to anyone age 55 or older by November 2026 with a Low Index of 9.4 or lower
• A Flight Championship — Open to anyone with a Low Index of 11.6 or lower
• B Flight Championship — Open to anyone with a Low Index higher than 11.6
We will also have the Final Round of our Inaugural President’s Club Match Play scheduled for Saturday, June 6. These matches will open our Saturday round:
A Flight
James Snider (1) vs. Aaron Kusnowo (2)
B Flight
Tom Boucher (6) vs. Michael Gonzalez (12)
As for pairings, Saturday groupings will be based on handicap index, while Sunday pairings will be based on Saturday’s low scores. Please watch the app for Sunday tee times, which will be posted by 6:00 PM on June 6.
During both days, games will be played based on your $50 deposit. The fee breakdown is as follows:
• Low Gross — $1 per round per player
• Gross Skins — $5 per round per player
• Net Skins — $5 per round per player
• Stableford — $9 per round per player
• Four Closest to the Pin — $4 per round per player
• Christmas Fund — $1 per round per player
We currently have 36 participants registered for these events (35 for Sunday). Unfortunately, we will not be accepting guests for this weekend. However, we still have space available for Members wishing to participate in either the Club Championship (minimum participation requirement of 30% ~ 6 events played) or either single-day event (Saturday and/or Sunday).
Please note that the registration deadline has been moved earlier to Wednesday, May 28.
Attached are several documents that may be useful for the Championship:
• Registered Players information (handicap, flight eligibility, and ball choice)
• Championship qualifying requirements as of 5/25
• 2026 Points Leader standings as of 5/25
