Team Play has been set for Sunday, August 2nd, It will be 20 man-team with 6 Net Best-Ball and 8 Net Single matches.
Players will be responsible for their own green and cart fees, as well as any additional games they choose to participate in (men’s club and/or match). Since the match coincides with our Home Tournament, players will still have the option to participate in the regular home game. However, during the team match, all putts must be holed out (no gimmes).
The Match Committee is currently finalizing whether there will be a separate game or additional prizes for the event. One of their members is the owner of Dormie Workshop, so we are exploring the possibility of securing special tee gifts or prizes for the participants.
Following the match, we are planning to have light snacks and drinks so that both teams can relax, socialize, and get to know one another. This will be our first trial competing with this Club (Yips Golf Club with ~30 active members). Depending on the success, we could proceed with having this event as an official event in years to come.
All DBMC players will receive a team souvenir commemorating this inaugural event. Additional details will be provided as we get closer to the match date.
