Good morning,
I would like to announce that sign-ups are now open for the Cash Game on Saturday, March 21st at Diamond Bar Golf Course with the first tee time at 7:33 A.M. There are 28 spots for this event. Please send a Zelle Payment of $25.00 to the Diamond Bar Men’s Club to secure your spot. Your $25.00 will go toward the cash game and the last day to cancel is Monday, March 16th. After that, your $25.00 is non-refundable. When sending your Zelle payment, please write in the note section: for Saturday Game March 21.
Members playing their match play rounds will have the first priority and they will play in the first tee times. I have the following matches scheduled:
- Lise / Garzone (blue tees)
- Aaron Kusnowo / Stan Kim (blue tees)
- Richard Skaar / James Snider (Blue tees)
- Tom Boucher / Julio Oliva (white tees)
There will be two flights. Everyone will be playing from the White Tees (unless you are playing your match round then you must play from your assigned tee box for your flight). This event will be opened to members first and if there are spots available then we will open it up to guest players.
We are going to use Stableford scoring for this event and here is how it works:
The Stableford scoring system is a golf scoring format where players earn points based on their score relative to par on each hole, rather than counting total strokes like in traditional stroke play. The goal is to score as many points as possible. The Squabbit App will be set up for Stableford scoring and you will be awarded points as follows:
- Eagle = 4 points
- Birdie = 3 points
- Par = 2 points
- Bogey = 1 point
- Double Bogey and above no points awarded
Prizes will be awarded for:
- Stableford Scoring net scores for each flight.
- Gross/Net Skins for each flight
- Total Low Net Scores for each flight
- Closest to the Pin for each flight
