If a ball lies in, touches, or is lost in a water hazard the player may, under penalty of one(1) stoke, play the next stroke as nearly as possible to the spot from which the original ball was last played or moved by him (RULE 20-5) OR drop a ball behind the water hazard, keeping the point at which the original ball crossed the margin of the water hazard directly between himself and the hole, with no limit to how far behind the water hazard the ball may be dropped.

Winter Rules – When the Tournament Chairman determines that preferred lies are necessary, the following will be the method by which the club will play “Winter Rules”

A ball lying “THROUGH THE GREEN” may be lifted and cleaned, without penalty, and placed within six(6) inches of where it was originally lay, not nearer the hole, so as to preserve as nearly as possible the stance required to play and if it moves AFTER the player has addressed it, the penalty shall be one(1) stroke. (RULE 18-2B)

9th Hole – The ball is also out of bounds to the left of the green on the line extending from the white post on the concrete block wall behind the Golf Shop to the post of the driving range fence.

Water Hazards (defined by Yellow stakes) are located on Holes 1 and 8, (bridges are in the hazard) and the lake on Hole 9. (RULE 26-1)

Rangefinders are allowed, (for distance only), they do not have to be shared with opponents and must not delay play. USE OF NON CONFORMING RANGEFINDERS WILL CAUSE DISQUALIFICATION. (USGA Decision 14-3/0.5)
